There’s a Need for Speed – Page Load Speed

Optimizing page speed is a thing. At this time, an internet user does not have the patience to wait for a page to finish loading. Nearly half of these users (47 percent) expect page loading within 2 seconds. After 3 seconds of waiting, 40 percent of these users will leave that page. A Google representative was even quoted as saying that 2 seconds of e-commerce page load speed threshold is acceptable. This is not just because Google says so. More than half of online shoppers consider the load speed of an ecommerce site as a criterion for their continued patronage.
